CommunityWFM
CommunityWFM is a cloud-based workforce management vendor whose forecasting, scheduling, and intraday-management software targets mid-market contact center operations. In 2024 its technology was acquired by RingCentral, which integrated it to provide native workforce management within the RingCentral RingCX contact center platform.[1]

CommunityWFM positioned itself as a lighter-weight, cloud-native alternative to the large incumbent WFM suites, emphasizing faster deployment and a lower administrative burden for smaller and mid-sized operations. Typical capability areas include:

Workforce management relevance
CommunityWFM is one example of the consolidation trend in which CCaaS platform vendors acquire standalone WFM capabilities to offer native workforce management rather than relying solely on third-party integrations such as NICE WFM or Verint.
